Blasha: Yeah I know, when I looked at your blog, I was like am I in the right place or what? hehehe felt too alien to me. But I'm here now babes. I thnk George Orwell is a great thinker, but Animal Farm would be much more pleasant than the imagery I get from 1984. BTW we both know that most people dont know that the idea "Big Brother" came from that book :p

and about 1984, well i hate si fi, but i dunno what's with that book that made me like so much, and it's not jus the big brother thingie,, alot more.
Blasha I had a class back in college called "Dystopian Literature" We would read all those depressing books and watch dystopian movies. Some of them I liked actually. We read Aldous Huxley's A Brave New World and Margaret Atwood's A Maids Tale, and one more I can't remember. A good old dystopian movie is A Clockwork Orange by Stanley Kubrik (1971). These are materials filled with deep symbolism. Maybe thats what you like about them.
Now I feel at home :)
