I wonder what makes them act that way! I also wonder what happened to the maid after the parents saw the video!

What about the number of maids that have committed suicide because of the way they were treated? or the number of daily rapes and kidnapping by our proud horny Kuwaiti men! frankly i don't blame them when they act this way to them killing or beating their employers kids is the best revenge, mind you I'm not saying it's right but the whole thing is so messed up.

I agree with Judy, I think most of the time the way the nanny is with the children or the way she "takes care" of the house is a reflection on how the emplyers treat her

People should treat maids as they would like to be treated if they were unfortunate enough to be put in that situation.

I vouch that around 80% of maid suicide and violence against kids would then end.

whatever the reason is...not leaving the house...don't live their lives....it does not give the maid the right to beat the kids. There is a difference between s disciple spanking and abuse...and this IS abuse!!! Even though there are numerous cases of maids in Kuwait being mistreated, there is no justification that this is a form of revenge. I don't think parents will say after they see this "Ooops...I promise to treat you better if you please stop hitting my child." Bil 3aks...I think they will hit her more even kill her for what she done to that kid. Sara7a...i will...even though I dont beleive in violence. No one hits my child... NO ONE!!!!!

I stand by Jazz!

Just for the record... the maid that helped my mom and aunt raised me was abused by the bedouins before my parents found her and went to the man and got her papers turned over to them!

It seems that the maid in this video worked for an Indian family in Jeleeb Al-Shyoukh. This is what I gathered from reading all the comments on the sight- hundreds of comments made by the Indian community in Kuwait.

I am totally against leaving a young child at home like this with a stranger. This is only one of the many things that can happen to a child dependent on a babysitter or maid like that.

It has nothing to do with the maid being mistreated at all. Some people are inherently evil. And this is pure child abuse no question about it. Inexcusable.

My advice to all mothers: if you can afford it, stay at home until your child is old enough to attend daycare or nursery. The scars a child will suffer as a result of this kind of abuse are very difficult to fade.
