And This is Why I don't Want an iPhone
Although I don't like touch screens and I love using keypads and keyboards, I wanted an iPhone the min I heard about it, I wanted it more the min I saw it.
I didn't actually buy an iPhone, I just borrowed one from a friend and played a lil with it, hell I kept it for an entire month :P Anyways, I didn't like getting online from it, it wasn't that fun!!! And I don't have that many photos to store in an iPhone and I need at least 70 gigs to store my music, clearly, iPhone isn't the way to go, especially that I'm so in love with my pink version of 80 gigs iPod Classic, my W880i phone and waiting so bad for the Motorola U9.
So here's the device that blew me away....
It's Nokia N800I never thought in a million years I'd like Nokia!!! people who know me know how much I hate Nokia and how much it drives me crazy, but I think it's jus because this device has a linux OS running on it what makes it so special ;)
I've been using this device for over a month now, and I can't get enough of it, really!!! The IM clients, the internet browser, the RSS reader, the games, the music and movie players, the wireless connectivity and on top of all that the way I can customize every single thing to the way I want is what made me fall in love with it!!!
You can install games and applications on it. The application installer software is very basic and easy to use.
You can turn full screen mode any time you want using the button on top of the device and also you can zoom in and out easily.
There isn't a keyboard on this device, but there is an on screen one, you can use the stylus with it or your fingers, it doesn't really matter.
You can also turn the entire screen into a keyboard to make things easier :)
Last but not least is the VoIP feature, this device has a built in speakers and microphone, you can use Skype or any other program to call your friends.
One last thing I need to mention, you can connect using Wi Fi, or bluetooth connection, if you had your mobile near you and it had GPRS, EDGE or 3G, you can sync both devices and get online :)
I ordered a Nokia N810 and I'd be getting it in a week or two :)
I can't wait.
