Updates
I took a big vacation right after I've been promoted at work. I've given A new title and a huge bonus, which I deserve. This was great, so great for me. I haven't been working here for a year and I managed to do and change something which everyone appreciated.
After I came back to work last Sunday, my boss's boss's boss was waiting for me! He wanted to relocate my office to be near him! And not just that! He wanted me to work with him! Be with him all the times! Meetings! Travels! Everywhere!
My boss is currently on leave, and he has no idea what's going on, I SMSed him, but he didn't reply. I can't do this to him! and my DMD has the power to do that! Yesterday I've been moved to the company's main office, I've given an office that's twice as big as mine, large windows and on the second floor! That's not all, I've given a parking space near the entrance, and I've been told to get ready to travel next week!
I tried to talk to my DMD about this, and how mistaken he is, I can't have an office job, I have dyslexia and I can't read alot! He said you do whatever you want! I really don't know what to do about this! I mean, it's WOW! but I can't work like this! At my old place, I wear overalls and safety boots all the times and no one cares if I wore the same thing to work two days in a row! Now, this new place has its own prestige, I need to dress up! Which is something, not impossible for me to do, but HARD!
I really tried to say no, but I don't think that matters! In less than 15 mins, they moved all my stuff to my new office in the main building, given a new car and have all my info changed in the system's date base! And all I can think about is my teamleader, I don't want him to feel like I betrayed him.

First congratulations then you didnt betray anyone you did your best and got this ^^ Hey now you got a new car, salary, and office ^^ Enjoy life :D

2- You tried to SMS him (dont know if you emailed him?) and its not your choice, if he were in your shoes he will go for it!!! he won't say no!
3- Managerial Work will always be the next step in any field. think about it ...
[emp => senior emp => division leader or project leader => managerial pos or consultant]
maybe you feel that havn't had enough and maybe u'll feel bored at the begining because you're still young and have the energy to do things yourself but thats ok ... and you never know, you may change/invent something and make it interesting!

Its scary yes!! and you may feel that its a little bit early to be away from the actual work .. I myself got an offer "Managerial thingy" from my boss's boss but i replied back with the most ridiculous reply .. "Why shall I move to your department I can do everything from my pos/dept?" OMG how stupid!!! but my situation is different anyway ...

First of all congratulations! There is no need to feel like you are betraying him/her, the boss's boss's boss obviously saw something in you the he didn't see in your boss. Be happy about it, try not to feel guilty. Your boss's time for promotion will come when he/she deserves it.
